High alumina bricks are refractory bricks with an alumina content of 50% or more. These are usually made from calcined bauxite or materials with high alumina content.
High alumina bricks are very hard, dense and durable refractory bricks. These bricks are not insulating compared to their IFB counterparts. They are often used for their structural qualities and ability to easily absorb and conduct heat, thus allowing for the high temperatures required for firing. Often used in conjunction with insulating refractory bricks, they provide an excellent complete solution for refractory applications.

High Alumina Bricks are refractory bricks made primarily from high alumina content materials. They are known for their excellent resistance to high temperatures, making them ideal for use in various industrial applications, such as furnaces and kilns.
High Alumina Bricks are commonly used in industries like steel, cement, glass, and ceramics. They line the walls and floors of furnaces, kilns, and other high-temperature equipment.
High Alumina Bricks offer high thermal stability, excellent refractoriness, good resistance to corrosion, and a long service life in high-temperature environments. They also have good load-bearing capacity and mechanical strength.
The choice of High Alumina Bricks depends on factors like the temperature requirements, chemical environment, and abrasion resistance of your specific application. It's essential to consult with a refractory expert or supplier to determine the appropriate grade and type of bricks.
High Alumina Bricks come in various grades, including regular, low iron, and insulating grades. They are classified based on their alumina content and other properties. The specific type you need will depend on your application.
High Alumina Bricks are typically made from raw materials like bauxite and other alumina-rich minerals. These materials are mixed, molded into brick shapes, and then fired at high temperatures to form the finished product.
We offer custom High Alumina Bricks tailored to the specific needs of your application. Customization may involve adjusting the composition, size, or shape of the bricks.
The quantity of High Alumina Bricks required depends on factors like the size of your furnace or kiln, the thickness of the lining, and the expected service life. You can consult with our engineer or use specialized calculators to determine the quantity needed.
Remember that when purchasing High Alumina Bricks, it's crucial to consider not only the upfront cost but also the long-term performance and durability to make an informed decision for your industrial needs.
