High Alumina Bricks

The series of high alumina brick feature excellent high temperature mechanics and chemical corrosion resistance to acid and alkali basic solution. They were widely used in metallurgy, petroleum, chemistry, etc.
High Alumina Bricks

Description

High alumina bricks are refractory bricks with an alumina content of 50% or more. These are usually made from calcined bauxite or materials with high alumina content.

High alumina bricks are very hard, dense and durable refractory bricks. These bricks are not insulating compared to their IFB counterparts. They are often used for their structural qualities and ability to easily absorb and conduct heat, thus allowing for the high temperatures required for firing. Often used in conjunction with insulating refractory bricks, they provide an excellent complete solution for refractory applications.
